If there are too many sounds in the background, autistic patients would feel hard to hear things clearly. Also, it would be hard for autistic patients in a noisy environment to make eye contact with others since the circumstances disturb their hearing.

Autistic patients' views stayed on the mouth of the character instead of eyes due to the difficulties to hear the details. Looking at the mouth helps them to hear the accurate words more easily.

Due to the lack of well-functioning social thinking, patients with high-functioning autism suffer in the classroom as well as in social activities. They often lost themselves in detailed differences among general conversation or non-colloquial body messages.

The part that processes a single word in the brain differs from which processes the meaning of a sentence. Autistic individuals tend to notice every single word in a sentence, and therefore "activate" the part that provesses the word in the brain.

What's interesting here is that most people tend to neglect the single word in a sentence, instead focusing on the overall meaning of a sentence.

This explains why Autistic individuals often have difficulties in reading. Autistic individuals concentrate on single word and overlook the order of the words, and therefore cannot comprehend the meaning of a sentence.
